LexJam LIVE! - Light Board Instructions

LexJam: ArtsPlace Stage Lighting (Light Board Instructions)
1. Turn the Power Box, located on the wall, to the ON position.
2. Ensure that the 1, 2, 3, & 4 breaker switches, located on the Genesis Comstar Dimmer
Box, are flipped to the ON position.
3. Ensure that the 1, 2, 3, & 4 buttons, located on the Genesis Comstar Dimmer
Box, are not pushed out and not lit (this will prevent you from using the dimmer, chase,
cross fade, and blackout functions).
4. Go to the Tech Director Light Board, located on the card table, and plug it in.
5. Flip on the red switch, located on the back of the Tech Director Light Board.
6. To have basic lights, do the following on the Tech Director Light Board;
a. Ensure that the top row (X) in the (A) position is flipped on for 1, 2, 3, & 4.
b. Ensure that the switch located under Submasters is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned on 10.
c. Ensure that the switch located under Master is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned on 10.
d. Ensure that the switch located under Chase is flipped to the OFF position.
e. Ensure that the switch located under Bump is flipped to the OFF position.
f. Ensure that the Blackout switch is flipped to the OFF position.
g. You can fade in and out by using the 1, 2, 3, & 4 switches,
located on the (A) position on the top row (X).
7. To have Chase lights, do the following on the Tech Director Light Board;
a. Ensure that the top row (X) in the (A) position is flipped on for 1, 2, 3, & 4.
b. Ensure that the switch located under Submasters is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned between 0 - 6.
c. Ensure that the switch located under Master is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned between 0 - 6.
d. Ensure that the switch located under Chase is flipped to the ON position.
e. Now, adjust the Level, Rate, and FWD/REV switches to control
the preferred speed of the lights.
f. You can use the Blackout switch for a blackout effect.
8. To have Cross Fade lights, do the following on the Tech Director Light Board;
a. Ensure that the top row (X) in the (A) position is flipped on for 1, 2, 3, & 4.
b. Ensure that the switch located under Submasters is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned between 0 - 6.
c. Ensure that the switch under Master is positioned to the GM (Grand Master)
position, and the (A) switch is positioned between 0 - 6.
d. Ensure that the switch located under Cross Fade is flipped to the ON position.
e. Now, adjust the (X) switch located under Cross Fade to control
the preferred speed of the lights.
f. you can use the Blackout switch for a blackout effect.
9. Any questions - consult with the Building Attendant at the front desk.
